Description Faculty Position in Translational Immunology: Department of Microbiology & Immunology and the Immunological Institute of Science The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), together with the newly launched Immunological Institute of Science, invites applications for several tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor level. We seek outstanding candidates engaged in translational immunology research, with emphasis on autoimmune diseases, cancer, allergy, infection-induced autoimmunity and cancer, systems immunology and AI, and interactions of immune cells with the microbiota and stromal cells and microbiota modulation of immunity in cancer and infectious disease. This recruitment is part of a major expansion of immunological research at URMC, with significant institutional commitment of resources to this initiative. The successful candidate will join a dynamic interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment that brings together world-class expertise in basic and translational immunology, cancer immunotherapy, and RNA-based therapeutics.
