Job Details: Maintenance Generalist applicants must possess: Must have minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance experience documented in the applicant's work experience. Candidate may also have verifiable formal schooling in a relevant maintenance/refrigeration trade in lieu of experience. Summary: General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be willing to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be willing to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Position Specific: Applicants who have worked for Tyson before may be considered for rehire up to three times if they meet the location’s rehire criteria.
