Maintenance Technician

Job description

Under general maintenance supervision, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintenance of the plant and material handling equipment as effectively and economically as possible while being consistent with plant policies, practices and procedures. The person in this position will constantly drive to minimize overall maintenance costs. This teammate will need the ability to work in a team setting or independently on projects that will ensure the division reaches its goals. Tasks & Responsibilities: - Perform all work in compliance with all EH&S standards and company procedures/policies. - Inspects equipment for proper functioning and diagnoses equipment malfunctions. - Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and schematics using hand tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic, electric tools (outdoor/indoor conditions at all plant locations). - Uses test equipment and diagnostic equipment to perform troubleshooting. - Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment. - Operate mobile equipment and certify as mobile equipment operator for specific equipment (ie, forklift, carry deck, cr...
