Job Description KPMG’s Audit & Assurance practice is expanding its Wage Audit team and is seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in auditing with a focus on payroll and accounting. This role supports the delivery of highquality wage audit engagements within a regulated environment and forms part of KPMG’s broader assurance offering. Your Opportunity: - Deliver wage audit engagements in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements - Examine payroll, wage, contractor and financial records to assess accuracy of declared wages and compliance - Perform data analysis across payroll systems, STP, BAS, PAYG and supporting documentation - Prepare audit working papers, progress reporting and final audit deliverables in line with prescribed formats - Maintain effective and professional engagement with employers, regulators and internal stakeholders - Identify issues, escalate complex matters appropriately, and meet defined quality and timeliness standards - Contribute to coaching and review of junior team members, as appropriate to level How are you Extraordinary?: - Experience in payroll compliance and /or workers compensation - Experience in auditing or related assurance wor...
