Pickle Research Campus in North Austin. Purpose: As part of a multi-disciplinary integrated research team investigating US tight oil / shale gas plays, the candidate will contribute to and advance RAMS geologic interpretation and geomodelling efforts. Responsibilities: Conduct subsurface geological interpretation and analysis, including wireline log interpretation, core description, incorporation of petrophysical analyses, and mapping. Construct, modify, and refine basin-scale 3D geo-cellular models of unconventional hydrocarbon resources. This will require working closely with the senior geologic modeler to understand the current state of models in different basins and current modeling workflows.
