Position Overview: Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field, with coursework in safety fundamentals, hazard identification, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, chemical safety, or risk assessment. They should have basic knowledge of PPE, SDSs, hazard communication, incident and near miss reporting, workplace inspections, corrective action tracking, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
