Overview This is a field position that supports W. Lee Flowers IGA and KJ Market retail locations and is based in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be located in Columbia, SC or surrounding area. The Deli/Bakery Merchandiser will oversee deli/bakery operations in assigned locations. This role is responsible for training and development of employees to maximize sales. Responsibilities: - Develop and provide job aids and train deli/bakery managers to effectively run their departments and understand performance targets and goals. Includes ongoing training on all aspects of the deli/bakery and the employees. - Set goals for performance that comply with the company's plans and vision, coach department managers to meet their objectives and financial goals. - Monitor productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching. - Inspect equipment in the facility to ensure they are being properly used, cleaned and maintained.
