The Multicultural Student Programs Coordinator is responsible for leading programmatic and administrative tasks for the Office of Graduate Student Life. The Multicultural Student Programs Coordinator is a part time position (25 hours/week for 12 months – summer hours can be flexible) and reports to the Director of Graduate Student Life. This position pays $24-$26/hr. Duties and Responsibilities: This job description is intended to represent key areas of responsibilities; specific assignments may vary from time to time, and other duties may be assigned. - Assist with the planning and implementation of international graduate student orientation and graduate student orientation sessions in August. - Provide support for graduate students of color and plan programs in cooperation with the Grad School academic programs, the Chaplin’s Office and Graduate Student Council. - Plan programming that will unite domestic and international students representing Asian, Hispanic, and African diasporas. - Supervise the Students of Color Office Assistant. - Help to plan the itinerary and travel details of the Civil Rights Trip and market the trip and recruit students. - Oversee the Technical Reader P...
