Overview Knowledge Services is seeking a Camp Counselor for Arts Camp for a contract role through the end of July with the City of Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recreation. - Pay rate is $14.75/hr - Locations: Municipal Ga rdens and Washington Park - Position will be alternating weeks in office and at camp sites, Monday-Friday between 7:30/8am - 6pm - On average working 30-40 hours a week. Responsibilities: Camp Counselor for Arts Camp Responsibilities: - The City of Indianapolis is looking for a Camp Counselor for Arts Camp resource to work with the Department of Parks and Recreation to work closely with management staff and campers. - Position is responsible for everyday operational tasks of the Summer Adventure Day Camp Program under the supervision of the Head Day Camp Counselor and the direction of the Park Manager/Sr. Coordinator. - This person will be in the office and communicate via phone and email and on camp site, alternating weeks. - Position is responsible for working closely with supervisors and campers, ranging in age of 6-12 years. - This role will be primarily assisting management staff at park locations by providing support to supervisors and campers during...
