RN Restorative Nurse The RN Restorative Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the facility’s Restorative Nursing Program to assist residents in maintaining or improving functional abilities. This role collaborates with therapy, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team to support mobility, independence, and quality of life in accordance with residents’ care plans and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized restorative nursing programs based on resident assessments and therapy recommendations - Collaborate with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy to carry over restorative programs following skilled therapy discharge - Assess residents for restorative potential and monitor progress toward functional goals - Train, supervise, and mentor restorative aides and nursing staff in proper techniques and documentation - Ensure restorative programs are carried out consistently and safely - Monitor and document resident participation, progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility policy - Participate in care planning, interdisciplinary team meetings, and restorativ​e rounds - Identify changes in resid...
