Department Overview The Department of Interventional Radiology is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for an academic faculty position to lead the Interventional Oncology services as Director of Interventional Oncology. The candidate should have broad experience in clinical interventional oncology, including being up to date with the clinical data, experience in multidisciplinary tumor boards and broad experience and knowledge in cancer therapeutics. The successful candidate will have a positive track record in programmatic leadership, growing clinical practice and initiating clinical trials, and will have an active clinical and/or translational research program. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the overall Body IR practice including inpatient services, trauma, peripheral arterial disease, PE interventions and portal hypertension/TIPS. Clinical responsibilities will cover the university service, including care for patients from Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, as well as the Portland VA Health Care System. After hours call responsibilities will be commensurate with faculty in the OHSU Body IR section. The department operates a full-service inpatient...
