Overview The Clinical Rotation Supervisor supervises groups of Touro College OT students on level II fieldwork in a specified area of practice and within the requirements of ACOTE and the OT Department. Supervision of Level I students is also optional. Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy services in a specified area of practice in a fieldwork site arranged and negotiated by the faculty member and approved by the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator. - Provide fieldwork supervision for specified number of Touro College OT students as approved by the Program Director, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, and as appropriate for the fieldwork site and students. Supervision of Level I students is optional. Supervision of groups of 4-6 level II FW students per semester is an essential job duty. The total number of students supervised simultaneously must be appropriate for the site, the clients, the student’s competency and need for supervision, and is subject to approval by the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and OT Program Director.
