POSITION TITLE: Occupational Therapist DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Special Services: STATUS : Certified – Contract: POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing school based o ccupational t herapy services to the assigned caseload that will be determined each school year by the Special Services Coordinator. The caseload may range from early childhood through high school/post graduate program and include a variety of special education programs. This position is expected to meet the standards of practice for Occupational Therapy . This position is part of the Special Services department team and reports to the building administrator and SPED Coordinator . PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: P rovide intervention services directly to the child or indirectly on behalf of the child. This may include adapting the environment, modifying curriculum, supporting accommodations, and ensuring access and participation in school activities/educational programs. C ontribute in early intervention, multi-tiered approach ( i.e. MTSS) within general education.
