Job Description Summary We are looking for a Principal HVDC Transmission Transformer Design Engineer (Electrical) to join the HVDC Transformer Centre of Excellence in Stafford, UK, bringing deep technical knowledge in transformer electrical and mechanical design, typically gained in 10/15 years of experience. In this key role, you will ensure that our transformer products are developed in accordance with the highest standards in design, quality, and manufacturing. Reporting directly to the Site Leader, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating design risks early in the process, ensuring robust and reliable solutions for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) applications that support the global green energy transition.
