CNA - Float Pool - Full Time Shift: 6:45pm- 7:15am: Job Description: PATIENT POPULATION: The patient population served can be all patients, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn. This also includes services which affect facility staff, physicians, visitors, vendors and the general public. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) performs individually assigned patient care activities based upon established patient care policies and procedures. Specific areas of responsibility include: monitoring of patient vital signs, providing patient hygiene and comfort measures, assisting with medical procedures, fulfilling nutritional needs, and maintenance of a record of the care provided as assigned. Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.
