Department: CHS Ped Urgent Care The Department of Emergency Medicine at Denver Health is recruiting a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physician to join our team. The Pediatric Emergency Department and Urgent Care (PEDUC) is an American College of Surgeons-verified level 2 pediatric trauma center and Federally Qualified Health Center with an annual census of 30,000 patients, 19 beds including 2 resuscitation bays, and a separate ambulance bay and waiting room from the adjacent 57-bed adult ED. The PEDUC is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, PEM physicians, and pediatricians, along with advanced practice providers, pediatric psychologists, specialized pediatric nurses, emergency department technicians, ED pharmacists and child life specialists.
