The Configuration Management Analyst supports engineering and program teams by ensuring configuration management processes are consistently applied across development and production activities. This role works directly with Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to maintain accurate product definitions, control changes, and ensure configuration data is complete, traceable, and usable throughout the product lifecycle. The position is embedded within a business unit and supports multiple programs, helping ensure configuration management is applied in a way that enables execution, not delays it. Role Overview: The Configuration Management Analyst supports day-to-day configuration management activities across engineering and production environments. This includes working within PLM systems to manage items, documentation, and engineering changes, while ensuring standard CM principles—configuration identification, control, status accounting, and audit—are consistently applied.
