Job Description Goucher College’s Graduate & Professional Studies seeks non-tenure-track adjunct faculty to teach the following graduate courses within the M.A. in Policy Analytics (MAPA) program. The course will be offered synchronously online (via Teams), starting on August 25, 2026. The instructor will be required to maintain a Canvas site for course resources. Of particular interest are candidates who have experience teaching and engaging students from diverse backgrounds. We are particularly interested in candidates who can deepen our students’ understanding of the interactions between the practical use of analytical tools and methods for evaluating, designing, and improving public policies. Contracts for adjunct faculty are subject to renewal on a semester-by-semester basis, depending on factors such as enrollment, instructor availability and performance, and student success. Data Ethics (3 credits): This course provides a framework to analyze the ethical and fair use of big data. This course investigates ethical issues arising from data-driven societal decision-making.
