Description Main Purpose of the Role: This position performs Logistics, Operations and Customer Service Support to our customers and agents. Overall duties include handling IMPORT / EXPORT bookings and documentation for both AIR and OCEAN, AES filing, Shipping Instructions, Draft BL’s, export door moves, LTL, send pre-alert documents to destination, Arrival Notice, AMS, ISF and customs clearance, cargo release, import door moves, demurrage and detention. Billing and invoicing, vetting vendors costs. A self-motivated individual, who supports all day-to-day activities. Main Tasks: Coordinates with origin agents. Receives AMS Templates, ISF Templates, and Pre-alert documents from overseas agents. Adds files to system. Monitors ETA. Communicates with consignees. Prepares Arrival Notice and Invoice to customers. Coordinate Customs Clearance with Brokers. Collects charges from consignee. Coordinates cargo releases with internal accounting team and carriers. Coordinates door deliveries (if contracted). Posts Costs (bills) to pay vendors. Manages demurrage and detention with customers and carriers.
