Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a full time Psychiatrist at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Position Details: Monday – Friday, (Currently M-F, 8:00am to 4:30pm) - On-site care for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) beneficiaries - Inpatient settings - On Call Hours = Nights, Weekends, and Holidays Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to veterans. 6 patients for an hour each or roughly 12 patients for one half-houreach; or any combination of one-hour and one-half hour appointment per day totaling 6 to 6.5 Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist: Active certification or eligibility required. Valid medical license in any U.S. state. Current and unrestricted DEA license.
