Job Purpose: Weatherford are currently looking for experienced R&M (Repair & Maintenance) Technicians to join the ISDT (Intervention Services & Drilling Tools) Team in Altens, Aberdeen. The R&M Technician role undertakes hands-on tasks and utilizes Weatherford's facilities, equipment, machinery, and systems. The role applies techniques and practices to complete the scope of tasks covering inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools, preparing them for their next assignment. Tasks will span the entire process from receiving the tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing using technical manuals, procedures, and technical work instructions. Responsibilities: Requirements: 3-6 years relevant experience in an oil and gas workshop environment. Basic mathematics. Experience of working with hazardous materials, radioactive elements and explosives. Awareness of NDT, NDE and ATEX policies and principles Should be able to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, monitoring of equipment.
