The University of Miami/UHealth Bascom Palmer Eye Institute as an immediate opportunity for a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). The CRNA prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Moreover, the incumbent works in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Preforms pre and post anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. 2. Reviews medical history, evaluating patients and determining proper methods of anesthesia. 3. Performs or evaluate diagnostic tests, such as radiographs (x-rays) and electrocardiograms (EKG’s). 4.
