Job description

Overview Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the TierPoint’s fixed assets. Compiles financial information, processes journal entries, reconciles accounts, prepares reports and analyzes financial data. Responsibilities: - Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values - Review, analyze and process all capital asset additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation - Prepare journal entries in accordance with Company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) - Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations - Perform and document internal controls - Compile and analyze financial information with a high level of accuracy - Prepare monthly reporting to senior management team - Prepare supporting schedules for external audit - Assist with annual budget process - Develop process improvements to gain efficiencies - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor - Assist with audit - Capital reporting requests Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - One year of strong general accounting experience including fixed assets - Strong oral and written communication skills.
