Job Summary: Perform ultrasound procedures on patients. Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Works in the OB-GYN department - Operate ultrasound equipment on patients to produce and record images of specific body areas as requested by physicians - Explain procedures to patients - Report results to physicians; notify physicians regarding concerns/significant findings/results - Record/upload ultrasound results/reports in the electronic medical record - Clean/sterilize sonographic equipment - Assess/troubleshoot and repair or arrange for repair/servicing of sonographic equipment - Schedule/confirm appointments with patients - Establish and maintain productive working relationships with people inside and outside the department and/or practice S...
