Position Description At a Glance: Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Test Technician to join the Data Power and Control Team in Reno, NV . Under general direction of the Test Engineering Manager, the Test Technician designs, develops, implements, and maintains tests for network interface cards and subcomponents in intelligent power distribution systems. Tests include configuration, calibration, and quality assurance tests in all levels of the product and recording/reporting test results. The Test Technician is an entry level position that is the main production support to make sure that problems related to production testing are resolved in a timely manner. New tests are created for new products and already existing tests are improved to reduce the error rate. The Test Technician ensures that all assigned duties are performed quickly, efficiently, and according to the established departmental and company policies, procedures, and goals.
