JOB TITLE: Recovery Support Specialist: EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours/week: SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm; some flexibility required per caseload needs PROGRAM/LOCATION: SAFE Family Recovery; Middletown, CT PC#: 2201: ABOUT THE PROGRAM: SAFE Family Recovery The Safe Family Recovery program encompasses 3 separate programs: SBIRT (Screening Brief Intervention Referral to Treatment), RMCS (Recovery Management Checkup and Support) and MDFR (Multidimensional Family Recovery). SBIRT is a screening that includes a breathalyzer, urine drug screen, the administration of the GAIN-SS and a discussion with client to identify areas of need related to substance use and mental health and to connection to appropriate treatment as indicated. RMCS is designed to provide ongoing recovery support and checkups after an episode of treatment. RMCS works to facilitate involvement with pro-social activities, linkage to services as indicated and positive family relationships. MDFR is...
