Job description
JOB SUMMARY: The Speech Motor Learning Lab (Principle Investigator (PI): Hilary Miller, Ph.D., CCC-SLP) at the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Connecticut Storrs campus is seeking a highly motivated research assistant/lab manager to join their team to work on projects investigating speech motor control and motor learning in pediatric motor speech disorders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Overseeing daily lab operations, including establishing community partnerships and recruitment of research participants. - Managing data storage and processing. - Development of IRB protocols and coordinating other research documentation. - Managing lab equipment and the lab website. - Behavioral and neuroimaging data collection and analyses. - Dissemination of results via presenting at conferences and writing manuscripts. - Collaboration with and coordination of other lab members, including undergraduates. - Other project-relevant tasks assigned by the PI. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in communication disorders, neuroscience, computer science, linguistics, psychology, or a related discipline. obtained by the appointment start date. - Demonst...
