Description JOB SUMMARY: Job entails managing independent case load including civil cases, title curative cases, and potential eviction matters. Court appearances expected with high level of preparation and competency. Will work with team of lawyers and paralegals. Based on location the position may be fully remote or hybrid. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Strong character and positive attitude are absolute requirements. · Initial intake and analysis on files as soon as received and generate strategy and budget within a 24 hour time frame. · Must have strong writing skills and be able to draft civil litigation documents ranging from discovery to dispositive motions and client correspondence. · Review chain of title, pleadings, mortgage servicing documents, and respond to lender and agent requests within a 24 hour time frame. · Think on your feet and quickly shift task to task depending on daily needs. · Make court appearances across Mississippi and provide same day client updates. · Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles, and other documents for compliance purposes. · Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed. · Strong communication skills inter...
