Title: Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach Position Purpose: The Assistant Coach is responsible for aiding the Head Coach in administering a competitive NCAA Division III intercollegiate women's lacrosse program. This position supports the development of student-athletes through mentorship, guidance, leadership opportunities, community building, and a commitment to social justice. The Assistant Coach focuses primarily in the areas of skill development, training, conditioning and performance of student-athletes, along with planning and directing recruitment and fiscal management of the program. Job Duties: - Assists the Head Coach in all aspects of running a successful and highly competitive DIII athletics program. - Provides leadership, support and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes, including advising team members in academic, disciplinary and personal matters. - Provides individual and group instruction to students on competition strategy, conditioning, and technical skills. - Develops and implements strategies for motivating student-athletes to perform at maximum levels as both individuals and a team. - Works closely with the strength and condi...
