Mission: SEK international School El Castillo is looking for a temporary English Language and Literature Teacher for the MYP and DP programs. Seeking to develop strong language skills and promote intercultural understanding, preparing students to excel in an interconnected and constantly evolving environment, while cultivating an international mindset. Functions: - Plan, prepare, develop, and deliver English A courses in accordance with school curriculum guidelines, school requirements, IB programs and LOMLOE requirements. - Develop and present lesson plans using a variety of models and teaching techniques in the subject areas. - Utilize relevant technology to support instruction. - Collaborate with other teachers to review, develop and write new vertical and horizontal curriculum documents, assessment and reporting. - Keep abreast of international developments in the field and in practice and methodology. - Observe, monitor and evaluate student learning and progress. - Prepare assessment tasks and tests, homework and other projects. - Model classroom inquiry practice and the IB learner profile. - Differentiate courses of study and lessons to meet the individual needs of diverse st...
