Facility Maintenance Technician - Decatur, AL

Job description

Turner Industries Group is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician for our Decatur, AL office. This position's primary responsibility is to keep the Decatur facilities functional and safe. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and experience using computers. This position is also responsible for: - Maintaining buildings, grounds, and associated equipment with the properties - Buildings and grounds maintenance - Inspections, monthly / yearly on fire, and safety equipment. - Utilities, Plumbing, Security and Gate access. - HVAC, change filters, clean units per schedule. Coordinate repairs. - Building lighting, electrical system and network wiring maintenance and repairs. - Ground maintenance-parking lot grading, lighting, and cleaning. - Coordinate landscaping, grasscutting, weed eating & spraying. - Bush hog property as needed. - Monitor janitorial service which includes bathrooms and office areas. - Schedule, perform and document all necessary preventative maintenance plans. - Manage contractor repairs for buildings and grounds. - Schedule shipping of any packages or freight departing the facility.
