An internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Truck Driver for Sherman Corps located in Sherman, TX Job Summary: Drives Salvation Army owned vehicle loading and unloading routine pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise, to serve production needs of the store and/ or general operation of corps. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the assigned geographical area. Ability to organize pick-up tickets and to schedule route in a manner that saves time and gasoline consumption. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D, And Prior experience driving a box truck, and any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe) Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements.
