This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Traction Power Engineer for our Boston, MA Office . Be involved in projects with our Transit and Rail Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact: - Technical competence in all elements of transit traction power engineering. - Ability to prepare and guide drafters/designers and less experienced engineers to prepare One-line diagrams, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, emergency trip, grounding and lighting, selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, proposal development, construction cost estimates, and project scheduling, test plans, field tests, reports, analysis, and technical studies for traction power systems. - Ability to perform grounding design, load flow, harmonic, power flow, voltage drop, protective relay settings and coordination and arc flash studies using specialized software. • Ability to develop systemwide duct bank drawings by working in close coordination with respective system disciplines. - Assist an...
