Job Summary: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the GUP/Truck Loader is directly responsible for the inspection and cleaning of rail equipment, the clean-up around conveyor belts and machinery, and performing various tasks throughout the plant. Observes, monitors and reports any conditions that could lead to product non-conformity or other irregularity. Completes all required equipment pre-shift reports on any mobile machinery operated. This position has the organizational ability and authority, as defined by the Plant Production Supervisor, to participate in the implementation of safety programs to ensure the safety of all employees. This position is also specifically given the responsibility and authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product or process, or to the quality system, and to initiate, recommend or provide solutions.
