Job description

Position Summary The Equipment Technician is responsible for providing maintenance and service for branch vehicles, and equipment. Mixing and filling pesticides and fertilizers. Primary Responsibilities: - Repair and maintenance of all equipment - Maintain the restricted status of chemical storage facility and keep it in a safe, clean, and orderly status - Maintain the facility in a clean and orderly fashion - Ensure trash and debris are removed from the grounds - Transport vehicles and equipment for repair outside the facility - Provide assistance with filling tanks with fertilizers and pesticides - Offload and Inventory deliveries - PPE must be worn and used in accordance with the instructions provided. (PPE will be provided) Other Functions and Responsibilities: - Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications / Attributes: - Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license - Must have small engine repair experience - Driving record must pass insurability test - Must obtain VDACS registered technician license within 30 days of employment - Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of employment - Be able to demonstrate the math skills necessary to read fill chart...
