This position is responsible for transporting passengers to their destination as defined through a mileage radius from the operations center. This role is located in Sagadahoc, Knox, Waldo & Lincoln Counties The schedule ranges from Monday - Saturday, from 5:00AM - 6:00PM EST This role... Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, other road users, and self. Transports passengers to and from medical facilities and/or home in a timely and safe manner. Familiarizes self with designated routes, utilized maps, or GPS systems to efficiently navigate to destinations while minimizing delays. Regularly inspects vehicle for maintenance needs and is in good working order; maintains a clean vehicle at all times. Completes mechanical checklist at the start of each shift and reports any mechanical problems to management. Completes and enters daily trip sheets for each transport.
