Department: Microbiology Location: Health Sciences Center Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Regular Term (Fixed Term) Job Req ID: R108546 Position Description: The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member to teach immunology-based curriculum in Medical, Dental, and Graduate-level programs. This position is a term track 12-month appointment with a rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. Candidates must have a PhD in a related field and a strong record of relevant teaching experience. The successful candidate will: Instruct all students using best practices in a lecture setting as well as in small group settings in the support of Medical, Dental, and Graduate instructional programs. Direct or co-direct courses in Graduate and Dental programs. Work with Course Directors to develop curriculum and lecture materials in alignment with existing course structure and content requirements, and facilitate multidisciplinary application-based learning exercises, including problem-based learning scenarios.
