Reporting directly to the Logistic Manager, the Logistics Coordinator I will be responsible for providing effective coordination and execution of reservation/booking arrangements of national and international/export shipments. Key responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator I include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for the daily execution of inbound/outbound shipments Create deliveries and shipments in SAP Update shipment tracking information in Excel spreadsheets. Track shipment progress. Assign carriers to shipments, including coordinating spot and contract rates Address shipment planning and execution exceptions as needed Manage a large volume of orders through the order fulfillment process Provide the best shipping option as per customer's requirements Identify and recommend opportunities for improving department or organization productivity Communicate frequently with internal/external customers and carriers Coordinate with department m...
