Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Hours: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM Must have the ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, off shifts and weekends. Compensation: $26.91-$47.11/Hr. **Wages reflect a $3.00 swing-shift differential** - Help maintain and repair construction trucks and equipment, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding - May perform service repairs in the field - May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles, class 8 trucks/trailers, construction equipment and large mining machines - Complete all paperwork that may be necessary - Must have own journeyman hand tools, but Knife River does provide large tools and has a replacement policy - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed - Other duties assigned as needed Benefits: - Previous mechanical experience on class 8 trucks, trailers and equipment - Strong troubleshooting skills - Welding and fabrication experience desirable - Clean driving record - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam an...
