Department/Unit: Molecular & Cellular Physiology Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $46,215.00 - $60,080.00 We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Research Technician to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will support ongoing research projects by maintaining a mouse colony and performing a variety of molecular biology techniques. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative scientific environment. Performs routine molecular biology experiments and procedures (e.g., PCR, gel electrophoresis, cell culture) to address research question under the guidance of senior research technician, research laboratory manager and/or principal investigator. Prepare culture media, chemicals, reagents and solutions Compile and document experimental results. Confer with principal investigator to review work assignments and plans for research experiments, make minor modifications to existing laboratory procedures and techniques to meet the needs of the particular experiment as required Set up instruments, material and apparatus and operate laboratory equipment required for specific tests.
