Job description

We are looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) for an ESY (extended school year) position. This position will be from June 1st-24th, Monday-Thursday from 8:15am-11:45am. Hourly Rate Rang e : $57.00-$68.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: - Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor function, mobility, and physical therapy needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. - Provide direct physical therapy services to improve gross motor skills, posture, balance, coordination, and mobility. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the school environment. - Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and classroom modifications. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. - Train and support teachers and staff on movement strategies, mobility support, and accessibility accommodations.
