Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Driver Shift: Mon – Fri 7:30 am to 4 pm Status: Full time: Location: Mercy LIFE Chester County, Coatesville, PA Position Purpose: The Transportation Driver is essential in providing safe, timely transportation for PACE participants, including meals, medical equipment, and pharmacy items. This role ensures the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle while effectively communicating any safety concerns. What you will do: Transport participants to medical appointments and activities. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations. Aid participants during boarding and disembarking. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adapt to schedule changes. Promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. Valid driver's license in good standing required. One (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or must receive appropriate training from upon hiring.
