Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Ideal candidate will possess well rounded background in lab operations including leading and hosting inspections, supervision of staff and technical areas as well as successful completion of an accredited laboratory sciences program Manager of Lab Quality and Compliance Position Purpose: The Manager, Laboratory Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and monitoring the operations of their assigned department(s) within the MCHS laboratory structure along with all assigned duties across the MCHS. Works in collaboration with other MCHS management and the Pathologist(s) to identify, implement and achieve strategic and operational objectives of MCHS. May support facilities as a resource in time of need at the operations manager level due to absences, extended illness or coverage as needed. Develop, implement, and monitor Point of Care Testing including new testing procedures. Participate in the evaluation and development of new point of care testing, maintaining proper records.
