Buyer (Poultry Plant)

Job description

- Report to Complex Purchasing Manager, assisting with daily operations. - Selects, purchases and manages products and materials. - Responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors and maintaining optimal inventory levels. - Research market trends to identify new products and analyze sales data to ensure profitability. - Develop vendor relationships, negotiating ricing, contract terms and delivery scheudles. - Place orders for goods and services, track shipmets and resolve shipping and billing issues. - Monitor stock levels, analyze trends and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking. - analyze competitors, attend trade shows and evaluate products to maintain a competitive edge. - Manage budges, review costs and ensure maximum return on investment. - All other relevant duties as required. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent required, with Bachelor degree preferred.
