Shift: Days Hours : Job Type : Full Time Job Summary: Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Clinical Services Technician (CST) performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Clinical Services Technician scope of practice. This individual ensures a safe, healthy environment that encourages socialization and empowerment. This position is subject to overtime, weekend, holiday and shift work, standby, and callback assignments. Position Accountabilities: Minimum Education: High School graduate preferred. - Assist with intake information on patient. - Observes patient behavior and responds appropriately to crisis, anxiety, panic or other behavioral states. - Encourages patients to participate in social, educational, and recreational activities. - Demonstrates implementation of least restrictive interventions when dealing with agitated or assaultive patients. - Physically restrains and/or secludes patients as required and only upon the direction of a physician or registered nurse. - Uses only DMC/DBHC approved techniques when physically managing agitated or...
