Position Function: Teaching and service in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics Salary Grade : UC: For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: www.math.msstate.edu Anticipated Appointment Date: August 16, 2026 Tenure Track Status: N/A Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Teach undergraduate courses in mathematics and/or statistics. Engage in departmental, university, and scientific community service functions. Full-time positions require a 4/4 course load or equivalent duties. Additional teaching opportunities are often available but not guaranteed. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematical Education. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
