Overview In this time of unprecedented growth at Electric Boat, we are pursuing an innovative thinker who is capable of solving complex problems and offering new ideas to support future designs of submarine fluid systems as part of the nation’s #1 Defense Acquisition program. Specifically, department 375 is seeking a results driven candidate with a proven track record of success to support the design and development of the VIRGINIA Class and next generation submarines. D375 offers a dynamic and fast paced environment responsible for hydraulic, auxiliary, habitability and life support, HVAC, seawater and compressed gas fluid system development. These systems are essential to the ability to sustain life underwater, submarine operation, and accomplishment of the ship’s mission. Fluid system engineers operate in a hands on capacity and are directly responsible for the critical thinking required in all aspects of their systems from concept development to ship delivery.
