Position Overview The Mechanical Designer III at Aqua-Chem is responsible for the mechanical design/drafting of water treatment process equipment including, but not limited to, skid frames, pipe routing, major component placement, bill of materials and component design development Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Location: Knoxville, TN: Pay Range: Dependent on Experience | $55,000 - $105,000 Salary Benefits: Group Medical, Dental Vision, 401(k) Match, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick Time. +Employer Paid Benefits: STD, LTD, Life AD&D Essential Duties: Complete assigned design/drafting tasks accurately and on time. Perform complex drafting tasks to prepare drawings of intricately designed parts and assemblies. Generate multiple views of equipment from 3D models into 2D manufacturing drawings. Handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and effectively interface with others inside and outside the engineering department. Make arithmetic computation using standard formulas when required for calculating dimensions and allowances, to meet technical specifications.
