Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior legal Analyst! About the role: Responsible for specific legal areas and is achieving mastery of legal skills; reviews and analyzes specific legal issues and advises accordingly; drafts procedures, attends meetings and maintains records of current /past work in organized fashion; knowledge level high enough for training other employees; independently informs supervising attorney of status of projects, research or assignments; voluntarily brings forward issues, concerns and ideas pertaining to assignments; masters business operations/procedures. At highest level, conveys legal information and provides follow up operational advice regarding legal implications, risks, liabilities of proposed and actual policies, practices, contractual situations and procedures, some of which may involve significant risk or importance to the organization; assists in development of responsive solutions, strategies, policies or procedures; may assign work to other paralegals.
