Job Description Job Purpose: ​ ​ As a Principal Engineer, you will research, design and develop mechatronic systems and machine component designs in support of food process and packaging development projects. The candidate will create conceptual designs, perform mechanical performance analysis, develop detailed designs, and oversee product fabrication and testing . The Principal Engineer will be responsible for providing analytical, empirical and numerical modeling support ranging from the first principles analysis via predictive computational models to CAD designs, which will strongly contribute to the advancement of our key business objectives . They will also play critical role in developing , integrating , analyzing , designing components and systems in support of the development of novel food processes and packages . ​ Essential Functions & Responsibilities: ​ ​ Conduct FE and CAE simulations of food processing and packaging parts to evaluate design performance against known thermal, structural, fatigue and related engineering targets and specifications. ​ Participate in root cause investigations using CAE studies to identify and implement improvements and resolutions. ​ Perfo...
